LACEY, NJ — There’s a lot of news to keep up with right now — locally, nationally and worldwide. Here’s a recap of coronavirus updates in Lacey.
Cases
The Ocean County Health Department has reported 245 coronavirus cases and 11 deaths in Lacey as of Monday afternoon. That’s 26 more cases and one more death since Patch’s last Lacey update June 5.
State officials have reported 12 cases among residents and five cases among staff at Spring Oak Assisted Living at Forked River. Officials have reported no deaths from the facility.
The OCHD reported 19 new cases in the county Sunday, bringing the area to 9,395 cases and 850 deaths.
Testing
Urgent Care Now in Lanoka Harbor has coronavirus testing available for all Lacey Township residents. Patients must show a driver’s license or government-issued ID showing a Lacey address. MORE.
Hackensack Meridian Urgent Care in Forked River can test whether patients were previously infected with the coronavirus. Hackensack Meridian’s urgent care centers began antibody testing May 2. MORE.
Ocean County drive-thru testing takes place at Ocean County College in Toms River on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Patients must meet the following requirements to get tested:

You must be an Ocean County resident and have identification.

You must have a healthcare practitioner script.

You must make an online appointment at www.ochd.org.

You must be symptomatic.
