The Dover Public Library will be open for four hours a day, five days a week. Hours of operation will be Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and Wednesdays and Fridays from 2-6 p.m. Patrons will be able to come in and browse, check out items, visit the children’s library or the teen loft, or use the library’s computers to access the internet or print. Computer use will be limited to one hour per person per day, to make sure computers are available for everyone who needs one. The passport center will be open for business, as will the Friends of the Library Book Sale in the front lobby.

Attorneys can continue to access the Tax Assessor’s Office from 9-11 a.m. All other visitors need to schedule an appointment by calling 736-7022 due to limited space in the office, we do not want to overlap appointment times or put anyone’s health in jeopardy.

The Pitts Recreation Center is open for walking 7-11 a.m. Monday through Friday. Indoor fitness programming will be returning along with outdoor sports. Online registration is encouraged for all programs.

Staff at our Customer Service Facility located at 5 E. Reed Street that also houses our Public Works Division, Human Resources (and other internal support staff) will be available and accepting payments through the drive thru and at the kiosk Monday – Friday 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Payments can also be put in the drop box, paid online or over the phone or mailed. Anyone wanting to schedule an appointment with Customer Service can do so by calling 736-7035.

Mayor Robin R. Christiansen said he is looking forward to Monday and is holding a ribbon cutting ceremony to welcome staff back outside of City Hall.
