WEST BRANCH – West Branch Local Schools Board of Education plans a special meeting at 6 p.m. Monday at West Branch High School, 14277 S. Main St. in Beloit. Purpose of the meeting is to consider the employment, discipline of a public employee or official; investigation of charges or complaints against a public employee; and discussion with the board’s legal counsel of disputes involving the board that are the subject of pending or imminent court action. This meeting will be held in executive session.  No action to be taken.

SEBRING MEETINGS – Sebring Village Parks and Recreation Commission will meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday in Village Hall. Sebring Village Planning and Zoning Commission will meet at 7 p.m. Nov. 5 at Village Hall.

STARK PARKS – Stark County Park District Board of Park Commissioners plans its regular October meeting for 2 p.m. Wednesday at Exploration Gateway, 5712 12th St., Rooms A&B, in Perry Township. MAGNIFICAT MEETING – Mary, Queen of Heaven and Earth Chapter of Magnificat, plans a breakfast Dec. 5 at Walsh University’s Barrette Center, 2020 E. Maple St. in North Canton. Doors open at 8:30 a.m., and breakfast begins at 9 a.m. Cost is $22 for mail-in registration, or $23 for online. Go to http://magnificatstark.weebly.com to print out a reservation form or to pay online. Make checks payable to Magnificat of Stark County, and send with a completed reservation form to Sally Kohring, 4205 Cleveland Ave. SW, Canton, OH 44707. Reservations must be in by Nov. 28. Physical distancing is required, and guests are asked not to congregate. Masks are recommended, and organizers will follow the mask protocol of the day. Meals will be served buffet style, but servers will place all items on guests’ plates.
