Fayetteville city offices closed New Year’s Day

City of Fayetteville government offices will be closed New Year’s Day.

Friday’s garbage and yard waste will be collected Wednesday. Friday’s recycling will be collected Jan. 2.

The Fayetteville Police Department’s lobby, located at 467 Hay St., will be closed. Police reports can be filed and requested at fayettevillenc.gov/cityservices/police. Nonemergency calls will be routed to a watch commander.
